After visiting Arizona and California, the boys and I flew to Kansas City, Missouri to meet up with Larry. We had a fantastic time there, staying with Larry’s Aunt Ida and Uncle Jerry. The cousins, Ethan, Maya and came to visit with their Mom, Larry’s cousin Nancy. Maya is the perfect little mom. It was a true family reunion, Larry’s brother Rick came with Mary and Larry’s Dad Richard was there, along with another cousin David. We even got a visit from Larry’s second cousin, Chuck Termini. We were really spoiled and the kids had a great time.

At Aunt Ida’s house with the boys. Aunt Ida read to them and Aunt Mary played with them. And there is little Mama Maya, holding Dante. It was such a nice break for me.


The boys went to a Kansas City Royals Game (baseball) Camron really loved it, and Ethan as well. Cousin David is the one who scored the tickets. And as you can see, Camron is now a true fan, all decked out in blue.


We went to a cool restaurant with Richard. All around the restaurant there were trains that delivered the food to each table. It was completely automated. The food was good, but the trains really kept Camron’s and Dante’s attention.




Larry’s second cousin Chuck came out for a visit with his family. We had a great visit and hope to see them in Germany next year.



I just love this picture of Dante coming out of the swimming pool. It is a nice counterpoint to the angelic pose he has in the picture above sleeping with Camron.



We had a great time in Kansas City. The boys and Larry even managed to get a haircut in.
